Banjara Rituals comes from a Gujarati family that has been involved in the Banjara textile and bag industry for over 20–25 years. Gujarat has long been one of the key regions where authentic Banjara fabrics originate, known for their rich colors, hand embroidery, and mirror work. Being surrounded by these textiles for decades shaped our understanding of the craft and the value of doing it right.
Over the years, we saw a growing gap between producers and customers. Authentic Banjara work rarely reached people directly. Instead, it passed through multiple middlemen, often losing quality while prices increased. Banjara Rituals was created to change that, by taking control of the process and bringing genuine Banjara bags directly to the people who value them.
Why We exist
We exist to make authentic Banjara craftsmanship accessible, honest, and fairly priced.
After working in this industry for decades, we realized that the real creators of these products were rarely rewarded properly, and customers often paid more for less. Our goal is simple: produce high-quality Banjara bags using original fabrics and traditional techniques, and deliver them directly to customers without unnecessary markups.
As we grow, we are also expanding into clothing and other accessories, while staying rooted in the same values of authenticity, quality, and fair pricing.
Where Our Products Are Made
All Banjara Rituals products are made in our own production unit based in New Delhi, which also serves as our main distribution center.
While the fabrics and inspiration come from Gujarat, our New Delhi unit brings the entire process together under one roof. From cutting and stitching to embroidery and finishing, every stage is closely monitored. Having our own factory allows us to maintain consistency, control quality, and ensure that traditional handwork remains at the heart of each product
Craftsmanship and Quality
At the core of Banjara Rituals is a group of skilled women artisans who handle the handwork and stitching of our bags. Many of them have been working with us for over 15 years. Their experience, patience, and attention to detail are what give our products their character and durability.
We focus on using original Banjara fabrics rather than machine-made imitations that are often sold under the same name today. Combined with strong construction and careful finishing, this results in bags that are more durable and authentic than what is commonly available in the market.
Beyond craftsmanship, our work also supports livelihoods. The wages earned through this work help our artisans support their families and maintain long-term financial stability.
Our Direct-to-Customer Approach
We are direct manufacturers, not traders or resellers. Every Banjara Rituals product goes straight from our factory to the customer.
By removing middlemen, we are able to offer better quality at better prices while staying transparent about what goes into each product. This approach allows us to stay connected to our customers, improve continuously, and remain true to the craft we represent.
